Terms of Service
Last updated: September 29, 2026
The short version: this site lets you ask for marine service. Sending a request isn't a contract. We confirm the work and the price with you before we start.
These terms apply to your use of this website and to requests you make through it. By using the site, you agree to them. "Precision Marine Service," "we," and "us" mean the business that operates this website.
Requests are not bookings
Submitting a service or work request does not create a contract or guarantee an appointment. After we receive your request we will contact you, typically within one business day, to confirm the details, the scope of work, and the price or estimate. Work begins only after you agree to the scope and price with us.
Estimates and pricing
Any price we give before inspecting your vessel is an estimate. If we find additional problems or parts are needed beyond the agreed scope, we will tell you and get your approval before doing additional work. Parts and supplies can change in price.
Scheduling and weather
Marine work depends on weather, water conditions, access to your boat, and parts availability. Appointment times are approximate and may need to be rescheduled. We will let you know as soon as we can.
Your responsibilities
- You confirm that you own the vessel or have authority to approve work on it.
- You will give us safe access to the vessel and the location, and tell us about known hazards or conditions.
- You will give accurate information in your request.
Website content
The website is provided for general information. We work to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is complete or error-free, and descriptions of services are not a promise that any particular service is available for every vessel or location. Photographs on this site are stock images for illustration only and do not show our customers' boats or our own work unless stated.
Brand names, logos, and boat and engine models that appear in photographs belong to their respective owners. Precision Marine Service is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer.
The site's text, design, and our name and logo belong to us. Please don't copy or reuse them without permission.
Acceptable use
Please don't misuse the site: no spam, no attempts to break or overload it, and no submitting false or harmful content through the forms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Michigan or federal consumer protection law, or liability that cannot legally be limited. The terms of any service we perform for you will be as agreed when we confirm the work.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the information you send us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
